Set in the upper Dee Valley, Rhydyfen is situated in one of the most picturesque areas of North Wales. The house is set in rolling farmland and has views across the valley to the Berwyn Mountains. Llangollen and Bala are about 10 miles away.
The house is surrounded by Rhug Estate which is organically farmed by its owner Lord Newborough. At 2,400 acres this is probably the largest organic farm in Wales and has a very beneficial effect on wildlife in the area. Many species of birds and mammals can be seen on or around the property.
